Life experiences, both traumatic and seemingly ordinary, can leave us with no choice but to develop coping strategies that can be lifesaving in the moment but eventually lead us away from our authentic selves. Therapy can be a beneficial way to stabilize from these experiences, reclaim our sense of self, and reduce toxic shame.

In my practice, I offer individual, couples, and family therapy to adolescents and adults.

Individual Therapy—Some of the areas in which I have expertise include: anxiety, depression, PTSD and complex trauma, addiction, eating disorders, life transitions, dating, codependency, sexuality, and general relationship dynamics. As part of my practice, I provide treatment for mental health issues related to professional struggles, such as burnout, perfectionism, career transitions, and work-life balance.

Couples and Families—I work with couples and families experiencing conflict or navigating challenges. Some of the reasons couples may seek therapy include:

  • premarital counseling

  • perinatal and postpartum challenges

  • parenting

  • blending cultural identities

  • recovering from infidelity

  • exploring consensual non-monogamy

  • navigating midlife and empty nest dynamics

Families may come for therapy to address past and ongoing conflicts, parenting challenges, as well as to support a family member who is struggling.
