Prior to my career as a therapist, I worked as a litigator in a top NYC law firm. While many of my colleagues were struggling with work-life balance and burnout, I experienced something different–I was questioning whether or not I wanted to remain in the profession at all. I also began to research and understand how trauma, anxiety and perfectionism can lead us away from trusting our authentic selves and how this can impact every area of our life, including career choices. In my clinical practice, I help professionals from a wide range of industries–from creative to corporate–distinguish between burnout and career dissatisfaction and develop ways to establish healthy boundaries and improve their work-life balance.
